Mission Statement
Ensure
the County’s financial affairs are conducted effectively in
accordance with relevant Government policies and all relevant
statutory and legal requirements. This will be achieved by
developing and maintaining,

effective systems for financial
control;

effective systems for financial
reporting, both internally and externally, providing sound
advice on the financial implications of decisions;

effective mechanisms for the
preparation of annual budgets and estimates and for the
production of reliable financial forecasts;

appropriate financial policies and
procedures;

interaction with others to raise the
professional skills base.
