Registered Nurse Supervisor, Long Term Care Services

Shift: Full Time, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Pay Grade 61, Min. $23.92, Mid. $27.73, Max. $33.11

Scope: Directs, through head or charge nurses, activities of the nursing staff to ensure optimum resident care.  

 

Duties: Supervision and evaluation of licensed and certified personnel. Assessment of resident’s condition to assure continuity of care through reports/communications. Responsible for the facility on the 11pm – 7am shift. Accepts special assignments from the Director of Nursing, Quality Improvement Nurse, Inservice Coordinator, and Associate Director of Nursing.  

 

Qualifications: Graduate of approved school of nursing and holds current RN license in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess qualities of leadership, diplomacy and have experience as an RN in LTC and MED/SURG. Nursing supervisory experience preferred and dependability a must.

Administrative Assistant Senior, Finance Office

Shift: Full Time

Pay Grade 33, Min. $13.93, Mid. $16.15, Max. $19.29

Scope:  Manages the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Finance Department such as oral and written communications, document management and managing employee schedules.  

 

Duties: Reports to the Finance Director and plays a critical role in managing the administrative functions of a busy finance department.  Primary responsibilities include receiving, distributing and managing documentation, maintaining filing systems, ordering supplies, managing departmental staff schedules and aiding staff in Finance processes.  

 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or 3 to 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 is preferred (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).  Essential skills and attributes include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Licensed Practical Nurse I, Assisted Living

Shift: Per diem

Pay: $26.19 per hour

 

Scope: Provides nursing care and carries out medical orders and treatment for Assisted Living.  

 

Duties:  Provides a therapeutic environment to preserve the quality of life for the residents. Supervises and evaluates the work performance of LNA and Ward Aides and identifies learning needs. Communicates and submits required reports to the Nursing Supervisor in a timely manner. Administers medication and treatments and completes documentation in accordance with EPB Assisted Living policy. Complies with established Nursing standards, policies and procedures of Assisted Living and the facility.    

 

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a State approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess qualities of leadership and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and Assisted Living.  Must be able to speak, read, write and fully comprehend the English language. Must be proficient in math skills.

Duties:  Administers medications, treatments, and completes documentation in accordance with RCNH policy. Assesses residents’ condition; identifies, reports and documents any changes in medical status. Assures continuity of care through reports and communications. Supervises, delegates and evaluates the work performance of LNAs and Ward Aides on assigned unit and identifies learning needs.  

 

Qualifications:  Must be a graduate of a state approved school of nursing and possess a valid current RN license in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess qualities of leadership and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. Must possess ability to work harmoniously with others and delegate authority wisely.

Scope: Cleans rooms and halls for the nursing home.  

 

Duties: Follows all health and safety regulations, rules and procedures. Cleans rooms, offices, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, closets and stairways. Sweeps, dry mops, vacuums and damp mops floors, dusts furniture and appliances, washes walls, ceilings, beds, woodwork, windows, door panels and woodwork. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area. Refills and secures chemicals, maintains supply list and provides on the job training and orientation for new hires. Assists with laundry functions, reports safety hazards to appropriate personnel, and assigns the daily routine for floating aides.  

 

No experience or training necessary.

Classification Level: Union Positions Entry Level

Starting Rate: $14.50

Hours: 8 ¼ per day, 5 day week, shift work

Hazardous duty: $25.00 per week

Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour on 2nd and 3rd shift

Weekend Premium: $1.00 per hour all shifts

Scope: Correctional Officer is responsible for the care, custody and control of inmate population. Provides a safe environment by enforcing policy and procedures. Good sight, good hearing, walk, climb stairs, the ability to separate inmates when necessary, manual dexterity, ability to communicate verbally and written. Sit, stand, walk, push, pull, bend, reach, grasp, read, follow directions and orders. Also take counts of prisoners. Transporting inmates, serving meals to inmates, participate in block searches. Good interaction skills. Building searches.   

Requirements: Experience preferably in the field of law enforcement or corrections, with an ability to deal effectively with all types of people. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency to qualify for NH Association of Counties “Corrections Officer Academy” Certification. Must be able to pass physical requirements of Group II Retirement Certification. Individuals must possess these knowledge’s, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some of the combination of skills and abilities and to possess the necessary physical requirements with or without the aid of mechanical devices to safely perform the essential functions of the job. Must possess a current and valid driver’s license. Good writing skills with the ability to articulate well. Good interaction skills, good health as described, must pass polygraph test and other duties as assigned.
