1972-2007
Roy has been an integral part of Rockingham County government for over three decades. His many volunteer roles show his dedication to the citizens of the County through his involvement in the community.
Among his many achievements are:
· Began his career with Rockingham County as Payroll Clerk and moved up the ranks to Assistant Human Resources Director, 1972 – 2007.
· Served in the United States Armed Forces stationed in Mannheim, Germany with the Military Police.
· Elected to the Exeter School Board for over 27 years (most recently giving the commencement address at their 2006 graduation). Conference Room in the new Exeter High School dedicated to Roy Morrisette.
· Assistant Wrestling Coach for the Exeter School District for over 21 years.
· Committed member of St. Michael’s Church in Exeter.
· Volunteers for the Rockingham County 4-H Program.
· Coordinates and participates in an annual American Red Cross Blood Drive.
· Awarded Human Resources Administrator of the Year in 2006 by the New Hampshire Association of Counties.
Awarded Profile Service Award in 2005 by the New Hampshire Association of Counties for assisting the association to achieve their goals.
