• Ensure the County’s financial affairs are conducted effectively in accordance with relevant Government policies and all relevant statutory and legal requirements.
• This will be achieved by developing and maintaining, effective systems for financial control;
  • effective systems for financial reporting, both internally and externally, providing sound advice on the financial implications of decisions;
  • effective mechanisms for the preparation of annual budgets and estimates and for the production of reliable financial forecasts;
