Welcome to the Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Community at Rockingham County in Brentwood, NH.

The Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Community provides an independent living option for County residents in need of a level of care which may be beyond what can be at their home, yet is not as intensive as a nursing home.

The Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Community is part of the Rockingham County Long-Term Care Services which offers a history of caring and the ability to offer a depth of professionalism and experience that distinguishes our assisted living community apart from many others.

Residents can read in the library, meet with friends and family in the well appointed common dining or living areas or just relax in their rooms and watch television, tap into the internet, make use of our beautiful grounds or join others for recreational and community programs both at home and in the area. In addition to the three meals a day that are provided, there is also a common kitchen available for residents who like to prepare snacks or meals themselves or with others. Our non-smoking facility also offers on-site parking, and elevators, all located on the picturesque grounds of the Rockingham County Nursing Home campus in Brentwood, NH.
